We are all familiar with the difficulty of Font: Arial

removing copper from the barels or our

    prized firearms. The primary methods

    for removal include chemical (dissolving)

    and mechanical (scrubbing). The

difficulty arises from the fact that copper

is a very non-reactive metal. Very few

solvents will dissolve copper in a way

that is also safe to the delicate barrel

    lining. Most current products contain

    water-based ammonia which always

promotes a vigorous rust and corrosion

    process.

Marksman's Supply has engineered an Font: Arial

    oil-based alternative that attacks copper

    chemically while retarding rust and

corrosion. This solvent also includes a

    component that enhances the scrubbing

action and will dramatically increase the

ease with which the copper is removed.
